Testing the waters...

Hi everyone, congrats on finding my site and my blog, and thanks for being here in general, supporting my little business, and enjoying all things yoga.
This first post is really just a test to see how things work. Some of you may know that I'm not very tech-savvy and despite having built this website myself (which was a labour of love), adding a blog to it is a whole other level of digitisation...so bear with me.
The plan is, to make this blog a mix of things - a place to dive deeper into yogic philosophy by writing about some of the areas of the yogic tradition and practice that resonate with me, while also being a place to showcase your journeys and your experiences with yoga.
I also (mainly) want to make this a platform for women to be candid about their birth experiences. I teach pregnancy, and mum and baby yoga, and have recently given birth to my first child - a birth that did not go to plan, and one which ultimately resulted in me being sectioned under the Mental Health Act due to developing postpartum psychosis after just six days at home - most of those days were spent cluster-feeding without any sleep.
So if you've made it here, and you can see this blog in all its raw, unfussy, un-fancy, beginner-friendly glory then well done and thank you. I do hope you make an effort to return to the blog and persevere with my lack of knowledge when it comes to creating anything digital. And I hope to inspire some of you, while also raising awareness for women on the subject of birth experience and the fourth trimester - whether good, bad, or downright ugly.
For now though I'll sign off and see if this actually appears properly on my site or whether I'll have to start all over again...
